EDUCATION
1991 St. Paul Ritter’s Beauty College graduate. I have continued my education with advanced education in hair coloring with Beth Menardi, Billy Yamagucci and Schwarzkopf. I have completed advanced hair cutting classes with Yosh Toya, Pivot Point, Aveda, Unite and Schwarzkopf. I have also taken additional training in hair straightening, extensions, and special occasion hair design. I attend several beauty seminars and participate in hair shows for NCA and charitable events each year. I’ve had the pleasure to assist Trevor Sorbie with his fashion show here in the U.S. I’ve trained and participated in New York for Fashion Week 2007. I have attended several Inspiring Champions classes including; Cash Flow Camp, Leadership courses, and Champ Camp in 2008. I educate and help mentor new talent at Salon Ultimo.

I enjoy doing all hair services we offer at Salon Ultimo, but my specialty is coloring and cutting. I’m very much a perfectionist and I love to make people feel awesome about themselves by giving them an amazing look. The more I get to know you, the better it gets. Before you leave, I will give you the product knowledge and tools to achieve the look at home.

1984 Stevens Point Beauty Academy Graduate. My level of expertise has grown from attendance at: Chicago Midwest Beauty Show, Fall and Winter, Aveda Master Jam, and Advanced cutting and color classes from Aveda, Schwarzkopf, and Unite. I have also had training from Fredrick Fekiah, Billy Yamagoochi, and Yosh Toga. I have worked for several charity events providing creative hair design and participated in "Woman's Total Trend," competition. I am privileged to have had the opportunity to travel throughout the US and Europe for many Educational courses through the years. I have been named the Salon Ultimo Artistic Director and a Women’s Trend Educator for MCA.

I keep up to date with color, cut and style trends by consistently educating myself to have the most current knowledge and expertise available for my clients. 1982 Aveda Institute Graduate. I have earned educational certificates from Aveda and Schwarzkopf. I have attended several hair shows through NCA, Aveda, American Beauty Expos in Chicago, and have participated in numerous hair shows myself.

I am passionate about cutting and coloring. I love transforming a person's whole look by adding some color or giving them a haircut that will make them say "wow"!

I am inspired by art, fashion, people I admire, beautiful ad campaigns, classic movies and portrait books. I especially enjoy working with colors. Whether you’re going lighter, darker, adding highlights, lowlights, or looking to camouflage stubborn grays, I will use my expertise to achieve any look you can imagine.
I tend to focus on the complete picture, not just the facial features & shape of the face. I will listen intently and I love being a team mentor and giving guidance to my team when needed.

I have attended dozens of hair show over the last 17 years including: The Midwest Beauty Expo, NCA, and Aveda Congress. I have also participated in many advanced coloring and cutting classes through Aveda, Schwarzkopf, and Unite. I consider my 11 years at Salon Ultimo education in it self.

I began my career at the Artizan Image Center, Altamont’s Springs, FL. Next I continued at the John Taylor Salon & Day Spa, Rock Island, IL. I then finally found my home at Salon Ultimo in 2002. My level of expertise has grown from attendance at several classes including: Schwarzkopf Essential Looks Collection on the latest trends at least 3 times per year, advanced cutting classes by Aveda for both Men and Women, and Aveda Special Occasion Design. I have had training with Beth Menardi of New York in Chicago and Orlando, and Color Theory and Tech with Billy Yamagucci of California Hair Color and Design. I am a Redkin Color Specialist and have several certifications including: Chi & Opti Smooth Hair Straightening, Framisi Color, and Coppola Keratin Complex Hair Therapy.

My specialties include updo’s and hair straightening. I enjoy being creative; learning new technology in hair products; and keeping up with trends in hair coloring, cutting, straightening, chemicals.
I love working with and mentoring the wonderful people at Salon Ultimo. My goal is to continue working and growing as a stylist before eventually calling Sweden my home.

I have had training with Beth Menardi of New York and have also attended product knowledge classes from Pevonia and Nioxin. I have participated in hair shows including: Fashion Week, New York, 2007, Midwest Beauty, NCA, and World Hair Shows in Chicago and Las Vegas. I have provided creative hair design in fashion shows including; Diffa, Hair Ball, and photo shoots with Eye Spy Photography. In 2008 I participated in Champ Camp with Inspiring Champions.

My level of expertise has grown from attendance at the Aveda Portfolio Trends, Aveda Men’s, and Aveda Master Jam. I also attend yearly classes from Schwarzkopf on coloring and Unite on cutting. I received my certification by Coppola Keratin Complex Hair Therapy. During the last several years I have attended several beauty and hair shows including the Midwest Beauty Show in Chicago and NCA. I am also a participator in charity events and the Ultimate Style show.

My specialties include color and cutting but are not limited to just that. I enjoy working with all types of hair lengths and styles. I stay up-to-date with current trends and love transforming them into reality. The transformation I get to give each of my clients is by far the most rewarding part of my job.
I am so blessed to be surrounded by such amazing clients and co-workers. I love what I do and being able to use my creativity as a part of my job makes it that much better. I also mentor and train new team members at the salon.

I became an educator in 2008 at the Hastings Beauty School. My level of expertise has grown from attendance at the annual Heartland Beauty Shows, working hands on at women’s expo events, and advanced training in several cutting, coloring, and up-do classes. I am continuing to educate myself by participating in ongoing hair shows; Aveda texturizing and perms classes; Champ Camp with Inspiring Champions; and other color and cutting courses provided by Schwarzkopf, Unite, and Aveda.

In 2001, I earned my certificate at the Esthetics School in St. Petersburg, Russia. I also obtained a bachelor’s degree in language arts. In 2005, I graduated from St. Paul Tech with a certificate in Esthetics. I have completed classes from Skin Ceuticals, Dermalogica, Pevonia, Emenans, G. Collin, and Aveda. I strongly believe in continuing education, which I am able to do through Salon Ultimo.
SPECIALTIES
My specialties include full-body speed waxing, eyelash extensions, high performance treatments, customized anti-aging facials, acne treatments, skin discoloration treatments, body treatments, and makeup. Being trained in both Russia and the USA, I am able to combine both European and American techniques in my work. I am also trained in French massage and incorporate that into my facials. The most important part of my job is seeing immediate results, sending my clients home with a regimen they can implement on their own and the pure satisfaction on their faces.

I am trained in a wide variety of massage techniques, and I love to give my clients a thorough consultation before each service.
