1991 St. Paul Ritter’s Beauty College graduate. I have continued my education with advanced education in hair coloring with Beth Menardi, Billy Yamagucci and Schwarzkopf. I have completed advanced hair cutting classes with Yosh Toya, Pivot Point, Aveda, Unite and Schwarzkopf. I have also taken additional training in hair straightening, extensions, and special occasion hair design. I attend several beauty seminars and participate in hair shows for NCA and charitable events each year. I’ve had the pleasure to assist Trevor Sorbie with his fashion show here in the U.S. I’ve trained and participated in New York for Fashion Week 2007. I have attended several Inspiring Champions courses that have helped me to become a better leader and mentor to my staff.

I enjoy doing all hair services we offer at Salon Ultimo, but my specialty is coloring and cutting. I’m very much a perfectionist and I love to make people feel awesome about themselves by giving them an amazing look. The more I get to know you, the better it gets. I have also had training from Fredrick Fekiah, Billy Yamagoochi, and Yosh Toga. I have worked for several charity events providing creative hair design and participated in "Woman's Total Trend," competition. I am privileged to have had the opportunity to travel throughout the US and Europe for many Educational courses through the years. I have been named the Salon Ultimo Artistic Director and a Women’s Trend Educator for MCA.

I am inspired by art, fashion, people I admire, beautiful ad campaigns, classic movies and portrait books. I especially enjoy working with colors. Whether you’re going lighter, darker, adding highlights, lowlights, or looking to camouflage stubborn grays, I will use my expertise to achieve any look you can imagine.

I have had training with Beth Menardi of New York and have also attended product knowledge classes from Pevonia and Nioxin. I have participated in hair shows including: Fashion Week, New York, 2007, Midwest Beauty, NCA, and World Hair Shows in Chicago and Las Vegas. I have provided creative hair design in fashion shows including; Diffa, Hair Ball, and photo shoots with Eye Spy Photography. In 2008 I participated in Champ Camp with Inspiring Champions.

My level of expertise has grown from attendance at the Aveda Portfolio Trends, Aveda Men’s, and Aveda Master Jam. I also attend yearly classes from Schwarzkopf on coloring and Unite on cutting. I received my certification by Coppola Keratin Complex Hair Therapy. During the last several years I have attended several beauty and hair shows including the Midwest Beauty Show in Chicago and NCA. I am also a participator in charity events and the Ultimate Style show.

My specialties include color and cutting but are not limited to just that. I enjoy working with all types of hair lengths and styles. I stay up-to-date with current trends and love transforming them into reality. The transformation I get to give each of my clients is by far the most rewarding part of my job.

My specialties include the Keratin Complex Hair Therapy – a service that eliminates up to 95% of frizz and curl, leaving hair silky smooth with a healthy shine. Hair Extensions are also one of my specialties. I do all types of extensions including, Wefting, Cinderella, and Platinum Seamless. I do free consultations to help determin what type of extension would be best for the results you are looking to acheive. I enjoy it all: cuts, colors, foils and updo’s. My goal is to help people express themselves by giving them a fun and edgy look that they can mimic at home.

While working at Juut, I attended six months of training on Advanced Cutting and Styling. I have also attended Aveda Product Knowledge and Special Occasion classes. Certified in Great Lengths hair extensions.

Short cuts, curly hair, and foiling are a few of my specialties. I am also passionate about the Great Lengths hair extensions. Being able to use my creativity with color; cutting is what I am passionate about and love most about this job. 2009 Aveda Institute Graduate. I have gained experience with classes from Schwarzkopf and Unite. I am continuing to grow as a stylist with ongoing education. I have also taken a few makeup classes from Aveda, and by James Ryder. I attended Champ Camp with Inspiring Champions the summer of 2010.

Doing hair has always been a passion of mine. I started out by doing all my friends hair, and furthered my passion by making it a career. Making people feel better by helping them create a new look is why I love this job. The little things are what matter the most. I enjoy all aspects of coloring and love BIG hair! Hair cutting is addictive, there is always something more to cut or change and I enjoy being a part of the transformation. Seeing the final look is an AMAZING feeling.
I am so lucky to have joined the Salon Ultimo team. There is not a better place for me to build my knowledge and experience. 2010 Century College Graduate, completing two years of college before graduating from Woodbury High School in 2009. Although I am very new to the industry, I have been an aspiring hair stylist since I was 10 years old. Salon Ultimo is giving me the tools and education I need to become an experienced and knowledgeable hair stylist, with the capability of building an amazing, and loyal clientele. I am very excited and committed to taking all the education I can to keep up with the most current trends and styles. I participated in Champ Camp with Inspiring Champion in 2010.

Before coming to Salon Ultimo I was a team leader and Executive Assistant at Inspiring Champions for three years. Since coming to Salon Ultimo I have completed Leadership Camp and Champ Camp with Inspiring Champions which has helped me to not only become a stronger and better leader, but to understand what I can do to help coach and motivated others to reach their goals in business and life.
The most important part of my job is working closely with the clients to make sure their needs are met every time they come into Salon Ultimo. My specialty is relaxation massage, but I am trained in pregnancy massage, stone massage therapy, and Aveda Elemental Nature Massage. I enjoy being able to provide a variety of services so I can meet each client’s needs. My hope is to continue to improve and diversify my skills as a massage therapist by continuing education.
I love being able to relive the stress of someone’s day and leave my clients feeling relaxed and refreshed. Being able to make an impact on someone’s health simply by relieving stress which can lead to many chronic health conditions such as heart disease is what I find to be a very important part of my job.

I retired from the State of Minnesota in 2007 after 41 years of service. I have also worked part-time in retail sales for over 30 years. Now I have found my home and a new family. Salon Ultimo!!
With many years of customer service experience, I thought I had something great to offer Salon Ultimo. I love the people I work with and the loyal clients. Everyone is so friendly!
The most important part of my job is always making sure the customers feel welcome and relaxed. I continue to learn something new each day of my life and my goal is to always be kind, caring, and to be a grandmother some day!
